Alright im going to get straight to the point, the new thread,Mark as read, poll and pretty much all the other buttons (modify post ect) should be changed to actual buttons instead of the grey text. The grey text is fairly hard to notice and just look really amateurish. If the admin wanted i could do up so designs for buttons?
What do other think, should it be changed or stay the same?

I know I'm not a mod, nor a member of importance, but.. I figured it'd be okay to put my two cents in. Honestly, I think the forum looks fine the way it is in terms of "buttons". I can easily spot them and, heck, I have pretty bad vision. The grey is easy for me to spot with this skin. It doesn't stand out drastically, but enough to make its presence known. Not to mention they turn blue when you hover over them, making them easy to click.
I, personally, do not think the buttons are necessary. What we have is functional and matches the the site. It doesn't look "amateurish" at all. Really, I prefer it this way. But that's just my opinion. SorryifIwasn'tsupposedtorespondtothis.

Kind of have to agree with Min on this one, I'm thinking it's more of a "if it's not broken, don't fix it" sort of thing. By all accounts Run Around has already been incredibly successful by RP forum standards and it doesn't seem like it's going to change on that front any time soon - just within the last day alone we've been pulling in new members. The buttons seem easy enough to find that I've never seen anyone ask about where they are or how to find them, and pretty much everyone is posting at least daily already.
To be honest, Min hit the nail on the head with her analysis. They're subtle, sure, but easy to find, and that's how it should be - making them stand out too much can have exactly the opposite effect from what might be intended, and as they are right now it allows members to focus on other aspects of the site rather than get distracted by something that's shiny or worse, a potential eye sore. Personally, I see no problem with them staying as they are and would even encourage sticking to the current design.
