THE CRESTS
all those who enter the digital world are considered digidestined and, as a result, they each have a crest, no matter their member group. there are twenty-five crests in total, eight for each member group. of course, one can be in the malevolent member group and have a benevolent crest as crests are the reflection of a person's inner self, not what they let everyone see on the outside. much like the anime, you must earn your crest through means that highlight the attribute of your crest.
THE CRESTS
courage - friendship - sincerity - love - knowledge - reliability - hope - light - kindness
trust - temperance - judgement - indifference - power - honesty - faith - purity - patience
cowardice - envy - deceit - hate - ignorance - pride - despair - darkness - wrath

OBTAINING YOUR CREST
there is only one way to obtain a crest and that is going on a journey of self-discovery. you may only start this journey when you have reached 100 posts and your quest thread must be, at least, three pages of rp between you and two other people (one of which can be an npc/staff-controlled wild digimon). this thread should have a fight in it that puts your character on the spot. sometime during the thread, a separate staff member than the one who's modding it will either drop in with your crest or will drop in with a dark digivolution (what the dark digivolution is will be completely up to the staff member) depending on how the thread is going and how well you rp.
one will never know which of these will happen, so be on your toes. if you are forced to dark digivolve, though, you will still obtain your crest at the end of the thread, so don't worry.
