So one of the only real problems I've seen here are the coding hiccups where finished posts have random bits of apparently unfinished code. While it took me a while of playing around with the options, I finally figured out what the issue is.
Proboards V5 has a different coding setup. While it is still labeled as BBCode, it is actually standard html code, just in different brackets.
WHAT THIS DOES is allow complicated coding for posts that would otherwise alter the site. I've seen it before, mostly on RP sites that don't have bb code, just the html options. If you made a mistake in your code for your post, it would completely destroy the entire site's coding. Albeit for that page alone, but it was still a pain. With standard html coding within the BBcode brackets, it allows more creative freedom for coding, without worrying about messing up the entire page just because you fumbled up your coding.
HOW TO USE IT is actually really simple. When you open up the standard reply box you will notice two blue links at the bottom left. One says Preview, and the other says BBCode. If you want to use any code, you MUST click the BBCode link BEFORE you start typing your code or even using the code shortcuts at the top of the reply box. Once you start, you can flip back and forth between the code and a preview of what it will look like when you're finished. This helps you to find errors in your coding before you officially post your finished reply.
You can also use the BBCode format to set up your post with V4 BBCoding, switch over to preview, and switch back to the BBCode option to have it completely reformatted. As such, you have to remember to ONLY make edits in the code option. If you start to make edits while in preview mode, you will wind up setting off the code, so unless you're just editing the visible text, just make sure you're in the Code option.
If you have any further questions feel free to leave them here and I'd be more than happy to help you out <3
