A little fun in the sun (Open)

"well, it's a good thing i'm not you, then, isn't it?" she retorted, hopping away from the aggravated gazimon slightly. taichou would be angry if she got into trouble...again. takako flopped down on the sand, pausing in her hopping around only to give cal a glare. it didn't last long, as the baby level digimon moved over to lyra, as the palmon threatened to throw cal once more. she didn't do anything else because then cal wouldn't help with their moat. and takako wanted her moat! maybe, if he helped and did a good job, she wouldn't throw bubbles at him. her dark eyes watched him carefully, as the gazimon began to dig a canal or something - what was it supposed to be called? ah well, water was filling the moat! - and the paomon was jumping up and down in joy, laughing as only a child could when something happened that they liked. it was lucky for cal that takako did not hear a word he grumbled, far too preoccupied with making sure he was going to help fill the moat. she grinned, hopping in circles around lyra as cal returned back to swimming. "yay! yay! arigatou gozaimasu cal-san! yay!" she cheered, almost falling into the moat as she did so. it was only through luck that she managed to keep herself from falling in.

from his spot, raiden laughed softly. his sister could be such a klutz when she got too excited. had takako heard him, maybe she would have sent a glare his way, but the paomon was distracted as lyra mentioned starting to build the castle. she grinned, and nodded furiously in agreement. their castle was going to be sooo awesome! "okay! let's make the doors like a gate! and we have to have towers!" she practically demanded like the child she was. dark eyes looked eagerly at the palmon, as it waiting for her agreement. yes, the castle was going to be the best sandcastle there ever was! it would be the envy of all other sandcastles, takako was sure of it!

ryuumaru nodded, emerald eyes observing the castle for only a moment more before his attention returned back to takako and her newfound friend. raiden, merely kept his red gaze in the direction of his sister, but they seemed to be more focused in the distance, out in the sea. ryuu was finding gray's company to be far less annoying than most others. he didn't seem to just babble on and on, and freaking on; but could still hold a good enough conversation. besides that, it was amusing, listening to the other tamer as he ranted about the troubles with people in the beaches back on earth. he could understand, though it was more so when people tried to bother him, which was all the time. annoying, they were all so annoying, just like gray had said. "these beaches are what we probably want for ours, but hey, better here where it can't be ruined." he stated with a slight nod of his head. despite the fact he, unfortunately, tended to run into others, ryuumaru did like the digital world. probably better than he did his own world: earth. "taking pictures a hobby then, or, are you a photographer?" he questioned.

either the paomon didn’t hear cal’s mumbling or she just ignored it; both options were possible considering that takako was still very much excited about making her castle. when the baby level digimon put her mind to something, she usually mainly just focused on it. unless, of course, her taichou was nearby – and no, not just sitting on the sand, watching, but if he were to build the castle with her and lyra – then the paomon gave him her full, undivided attention. He was, after all, her taichou and she loved him very much. dark eyes glanced in the direction of her brother and her taichou, watching as he, uncharacteristically, conversed with the other human boy. She puffed out slightly, a tad jealous that her taichou was talking to someone else. however, it was okay because lyra was playing with her and gray was a boy.

takako had been gathering the sand up together, forming a slight pile that they could later mold into their castle, when the palmon showed her the pieces of wood. dark eyes lit up with excitement. the paomon nodded enthusiastically, "they can be the gates! and, and, it can be like the bridge too!" she stated. now their castle would be the best sandcastle there ever was! "we need another piece for the bridge now, too. takako and bossy may have gone well together…sometimes. the little baby level digimon was excited for her castle; it had a gate and now a bridge to go with it! and they’d make the towers and then they’d decorate it with shells and whatever else they found. with that in mind, the paomon began to gather more sand, a determined look as she went to build her castle, tongue stuck out of the corner of her mouth in concentration.

ryuumaru, as he and gray sat on the sand, gave a nod at the other’s words. he wasn’t all too photography – he found no reason for him to take pictures and he disliked getting his picture taken too – but he could respect that gray enjoyed it as a hobby, apparently. "what do you plan to do with the pictures you’ve taken here?" the sandy blonde teen asked, emerald gaze flickering towards gray before returning to watch takako and gray’s palmon build the castle. briefly, he noted the gazimon returned to swimming. he had no doubt that the pictures gray took would probably have others be envious of, especially the beaches such as this. though briefly he wondered what gray would do with the digimon pictures – if he had any – but quickly knocked the thought out of his head. he didn’t really care; it was gray’s work after all and had nothing to do with him.

takako smiled as she looked at the partially done castle she and lyra had built. it already looked amazing, and by the time they finished, it'd be even more amazing, she was sure of it. raiden would be so jealous that he didn't get to lend a hand in making such a castle. she couldn't exclude cal because the gazimon did help with the moat...but not the castle itself, so maybe she could. either way; her and lyra's castle was going to blow everyone away! except her taichou because she didn't want him blown away and the digi-egg because it was a digi-egg. maybe gray could stay too, because his name was a color! cal and raiden could be blown away together though.

with that thought, the paomon nodded and began to build the towers, struggling the higher they got as she was just a paomon and hadn't any legs or arms to stretch herself up. her ears could only do so much. lyra was collecting shells to decorate the castle, but takako couldn't help but cry out for the palmon, "lyra-san! i can't reach the top!" she whined as only a child could. she tried to reach higher, but ended up falling backwards into the moat they made with a slight splash. "oh no! the seadramon's gonna get me!" she tried to hop out, but was having a bit of difficulty as it was a moat and she hadn't anything to pull herself out with. "lyra-san, help!"

ryuumaru nodded in agreement. he hadn't particularly cared much for the beaches, but he'd hate to have ruined the digital world by allowing even more of the human race to enter it. to the sandy blonde, humans were a destructive race - though he was included in that bit, as he rather enjoyed fighting with others. "smart." he stated rather simply, glancing at raiden and then takako. yeah, he didn't care for much, but he did grow to care for his digimon partners. he wouldn't let their world be destroyed like earth was slowly being polluted. "have you ever returned back? i've heard stories, not sure whether they're true or not." he gave a light shrug. he liked it better in the digital world to be honest. less people to bother him. more space to be alone and with his partners. "can't say i want to go back, though."

the paomon sputtered as some of the water entered her mouth, before blinking up at the gazimon with her dark eyes. at first, she did nothing but blink at cal before suddenly tackling herself to him, hugging him best she could with her little ears and non-existent arms. "cal-san saved me from the seadramon! he's an honorary member now, he can't be blown away by our castle." takako stated though it was highly probably neither had a clue as to what she was talking about. but she changed her mind, cal couldn't be blown away because what if she fell in again? what if the seadramon got her this time? oh no no, cal needed to be there.

from the shore, raiden rolled his eyes when his sister fell into the moat. he wasn't too surprised, really. it was bound to happen at some point or another; though it did surprise him when the gazimon had helped her out rather than the palmon takako seemed to have befriended. no doubt, the paomon was probably changing her mind about the gazimon right this minute. raiden knew his sister too well. "cal-san can be the leader of our army, and lyra-san will be the queen! and i'll be the princess!" that'd make raiden a prince, but eh, she was still the princess. even though cal was already on his way back to swim, takako followed him, blinking up at him before turning towards lyra. "you have'ta knight him! so he can be the leader!" she stated to the palmon, somewhat of a three-sixty from when she was spitting water out at him.

ryuumaru had tensed, slightly, when he noted takako had fallen into the water filled moat. he knew it wasn't particularly dangerous, but he tended to be protective of those he actually liked for there were so few of them. he relaxed only when the gazimon placed his paomon back on the sand, where she couldn't drown. he then gave a thoughtful nod as gray mentioned others having gone back and forth between earth and the digital world. "hn," he mumbled, emerald gaze on takako as she followed the gazimon back towards the water. he sighed - takako was such a handful. at least now there was other digimon to keep her company. "how long have you been here, then?"

now that cal was knighted - he was their night now, the leader of their army and meant to save them from danger! - takako nodded and eagerly returned to the near finished sand castle. she was still too short to make the towers though, as she wanted them to be big and grand. "i'm too little to do the top." the paomon stated, seeing nothing wrong with pointing out the obvious. "i'll put these up near the gates, while you finish the towers, okay?" though it was a question, the excited little digimon didn't wait for an answer, placing one of the smaller shells near the gates of their castle. at this rate, they'd be done soon and she could show off her castle to her taichou!

"let's name it castle sheeshell castle!" she frowned, repeating the word once more, slower this time, "seashell castle!" that was it. seashell castle would be so pretty and big and the best castle ever! the paomon added another shell near the sandcastle gates, so that it was now bordered with the smallest seashells she - mostly lyra, really - could find. there. now, she had to add the bigger shells too; though, this time, she waited for the palmon. she wanted to decorate with lyra! her gaze shifted from the palmon to the shells then back to the castle, the paomon hopping in the same spot in her eagerness. she was just so excited.

ryuumaru raised an eyebrow - gray had been there for somewhere around the six month mark. he hadn't been there long, not really. maybe a month or so. the days seemed to blur together as he was almost always traveling around, no specific destination in mind save for somewhere where he wouldn't have the unfortunate luck of running into another tamer. "aahh. it's been maybe a month for me; though the days just seem to blur together, i can't be so sure." he stated, a light chuckle of his own when gray thought he missed his own birthday. "ah, well, happy belated, then," he stated, more so out of politeness than anything. "what's a birthday?" the quiet zurumon suddenly asked. digimon didn't have birthdays, not really; and his taichou hadn't spoke of it before, so how was he supposed to know what a birthday was?

if she was excited earlier, the paomon was now completely ecstatic as she noted the gazimon - though, he was still decided grumpy - help gather up the shells for their castle. lyra was adding the decorations to the top and to the towers, where takako couldn't reach as a baby level. they were nearly done! she grinned, wide and excited, eyes eager to show off seashell castle to her taichou. and raiden, who'd be jealous because he didn't have a castle like that. "yay! sheeshell castle is soooo pretty!" she exclaimed, jumping up and down in her excitement. she circled the two rookie levels, laughing and giggling, all giddy with the fact that their castle was finished.

"come! let's go show my taichou and color-san!" she may have forgotten which color lyra's tamer was named after. oops, but she was too excited for about the castle anyways and she was still only a paomon! how was she supposed to remember the names of everyone she met - though, she didn't technically meet their tamer yet. soon though, as the paomon began to hurry back towards her taichou, laughing and grinning all the way. "taaaaiiiichooouuu!" the baby level cried out, not even bothering to slow down in her haste to get to her tamer, running right into her taichou. considering she was so small, it only briefly knocked him back, though an involuntary "oof," escaped him as he caught his excited partner.

in her taichou's arms, takako turned and stuck her tongue out at raiden, 'hmph-ed' and glared back at his sister; neither bothering to even pretend they weren't fighting in the presence of their taichou and company of others. ryuumaru gave a nearly inaudible sigh, placing the paomon back on the sand, as she looked up at him with big dark eyes. "taichou, this is lyra-san!" she introduced the palmon, "and...and sir cal the grouchy! he's our knight!" and then she began to speak rapidly, trying to catch her taichou up on what happened in so little time - though she really didn't have to. "slow down, motor-mouth. no one can understand you." raiden said, red eyes gleaming with triumph as his sister puffed up, glaring at him but saying nothing. ryuumaru turned towards gray, "and this would be takako." he stated, as an introduction for his little paomon; slight exasperation in his voice as the paomon continued on with her story, only to get interrupted by raiden once more.
