Physical description:Thin/average body, with a 2~3 days beard which he always forget to shave. Short, light-brown hair, people tend to say about it that it's blond -which drives him mad. Brown eyes, commonly covered by a sunglasses. If he moves indoors, he changes them by a simple plain glasses as soon as possible. Has a scar on his right leg, near the hip, but his trousers cover it most of the time. Average face, nothing that stands out... That he wants to recognize: he has a nice nose that looks exactly like Brian's nose (remember The Life of Brian, Monty Python's "opera prima").
Wears a black t-shirt and old jeans -not the ones that are sold already used, but truly aged jeans-, with black trainers. Has a chain pending from his belt, with his keys and mp3 player at the end. Has three earrings on his left's, and one on his right's, that he wears since he left high school. Also has tan lines, a mark of his cycling's habits.
Background: He was born healthy, and had an easy childhood, but then he became a teenager who couldn't stand up with his parents. Tired of having an argument day after day, he left home after finishing his secondary school just to regret it as he discovered he couldn't live without the knowledge that high school provided. He moved with his grandma and started to work so he could get the money for paying extra classes in a private academy, but he spent it instead in improving the old house where he and his grandmother lived, since she was getting too old and couldn't get along with all the physical barriers.
He formed a thin bound with his parents again, but they never met apart from Christmas. The only time he saw them out of that schedule was when he had to underpass surgery, since he was affected of a weird, yet not life-risking, illness that made his femur constantly hit his hip, damaging it. After that, he realized he wouldn't last long in his job, and left it to be a full-time student.
Being a passionate mechanic, he decided he would do that for a living, and started a three-years course on the subject. All he did on his free time was reading and doing some repairing jobs for his friends and mates: a dull life for those who didn't know him well.
After he could finish his course, his grandmother died. 'She was too old', people kept telling him. Well, he sure knew the day would come, but he wanted his grandmother to see him become an adult. She would have to do that from heaven.
The funeral was three days ago. Shattered from his lost, he moved into a new life. "Japan", he first thought. "The future of robotics, a new conception of mechanics... I can't think of a better place to start off".
Fran didn't know more than a few sentences in Japanese, but he was quite agile in English, and he considered he would be fine there. He left his grandma's house and almost all his belongings, and went to the airport with all his currency and a luggage bag under his arm. He was at the airport when...
Other issues: he always carries a black backpack with him, and inside he keeps a small journal (and a pen, of course) that he fills with all he sees on his small trips, a set of bike tools, a bottle of water, his sunglasses and his mp3 player, with a wind-up charger.
Digital World: Fran first appeared at Toy Town, saving a MetalKoromon from being buried alive under a pile of giant Lego blocks. He befriended it, and then met Monzaemon of Toy Town, who explained him everything it could about the Digital World, and Fran's partner: the small MetalKoromon. Fran is still thinking that this is all a weird dream when he's stuck at Primary Village, where he appeared because of a Monzaemon's miscalculation while teleporting him to File City
